State of Ohio American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Accountability

Estimated Funds Coming to Ohio as Announced by Federal Agencies

Since the American Recovery Act legislation passed, the federal government has announced much of the funding that will help Ohio strengthen its economy. Because discretionary and competitive awards to Ohio will continue to be made, the information contained on this page is not final, and the charts will be updated periodically to reflect additional ARRA funds for Ohio.

Please note also that all funds are rounded estimates and are likely to change as allocations, awards and contracts are finalized.

Recovery Act funds are allocated in three ways. Formula allocations are non-competitive awards, based on a predetermined formula. Competitive awards are funds awarded through a competitive process in which the proposal that best meets established guidelines is accepted. Discretionary awards are flexible funds in which the federal agency administering the funds has the discretion to determine which applications are most worthy of funding.
