The Recovery Act is helping Ohio's economic recovery by providing funding to projects large and small, in every county, that are creating and saving jobs. As I travel throughout our great state, I frequently encounter inspirational stories about the individuals and communities that have come together to put President Obama's and the U.S. Congress's stimulus to work.
Whether it is the way the Berea community came together to construct a new elementary school with Recovery Act bonds, or how Clean Ohio Fuels partnered with the cities of Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland to put more fuel efficient public vehicles on our streets, the diversity and success of Ohio projects are clear signs of Ohio's economic recovery.
Please share your story with us. We may feature it on this website.
Sincerely,
Ted Strickland
